Using Glitters Fills

tutorial was created in PSP 7, but can be done in PSP 8
|
Save this sparkle to your hard
drive.
Save this graphic to your hard
drive.

Open Glitter in Animation Shop.

Highlight all frames. (Edit/Select
All)

File/Export Frames/ToPaintShopPro
|

Switch to PSP.
-
You can work with the layers or
copy and paste each layer as a separate image. If you copy and paste
each layer separate you can then close the glitter image. If it asks
about updating the file in AS click no.

Note this image has three
layers.

Open the image you want to use
the glitter on or use the one I did.

Using your magic wand, highlight
the areas you want to add the glitter to, Or use your lasso tool to outline
the areas you want glittered.

Hold down your shift key and select
all the areas you want.

Use Window/Duplicate to make as
many copies as you have frames of glitter.

My glitter had 3 frames so I have
3 copies of my image. The ants will be around the area on all copies.
Do not remove them.

Set your foreground to pattern
and your first frame of glitter.

Flood fill your first image.
Remove ants and save as image 1. (Pegasus1.psp)

Change your foreground to the
second frame of your glitter.

Flood fill your second image.
Remove ants and save as image 2 (Pegasus2.psp)

Change your foreground to your
third frame of the glitter.

Flood fill your third image.
Remove ants and save as image 3 (Pegesus3.psp)

Return to AS. You can close
the glitter that is open there. If it asks about updating the file
in AS click no.

Click Wizard.
-
Click each screen as follows:
Same size as image first frame, Next; Transparent, White; Next; Centered
in the Frame, With the canvas color, Next; Yes, repeat the animation indefinitely,
20, Next, Add your images in order (1, 2, 3, 4) Next; Finish

View your animation. If you are
happy with it save it as gif.

| If you are using frames, flood
frame 1 with frame 1 of the glitter, frame 2 of the image with frame 2
of the glitter and frame 3 of the image with frame 3 of the glitter.
Save as psp image. Open image is A.S. and view animation. If
you are happy with it, save as above. |
